After comparing a lot of media consoles, this one stood out. The slatted doors hide my gear without blocking the remotes, and the vented metal shelves keep everything cool. The removable back panels and hidden wheels make cables and cleaning much easier.
This looks and feels like a much more expensive designer piece. The mid-century styling is beautiful, the wood grain has a rich, natural look, and the thick 18mm construction makes the cabinet feel incredibly solid. It adds a warm, polished look to the entire room.
Really happy with how this turned out. It’s heavier than I expected, so getting it inside took two people, but once it was set up, it looked great. The walnut color is warm without looking orange, my receiver fits easily, and the wheels came in handy when I had to redo the cables.
So it’s built really well, but at the same time mine came damaged in a lot of areas. Some cracks and chips. The shelves and everything were prebuilt so during transit i guess they were rough with the package and the shelves moved and scraped the inside of the cabinet. Took 7 weeks to get here so instead of waiting for a replacement they gave me a partial refund and i just used furniture markers to fill in the scratched areas. But other than that its a great console and i love the sliding doors
We got the 94" Walnut Media Console with Slatted doors. We picked this unit after a lot of research because it is deep enough for our electronic equipment. It seems very high quality. It was well protected by super dense foam at every corner so it was undamaged upon arrival. NOTE: this is a very heavy piece, about 250 pounds. I could not move it from the front porch without help. It looks beautiful and is solid. We found it easy to put the legs on and add into our space.
Finally found a media console with the right depth to house my AV receiver without it sticking out. It looks sleek and the lighting adds such a nice vibe to the room. Super easy to put together—just attached the legs and it was ready to go. Solid quality!
